#asktheexperts Hello doctor, my son is 5 months and 12 days old. I have been suffering from runny nose and fever for two past two days. Since I am breastfeeding I would like to know what medication I can take so that it does not cause indirect effect to my baby. Also my baby has started to develop runny nose as well. what medication should I give him. ? He weighs 8. 5 kgs. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Hoping to hear soon. Thanks

s and you can take steam which can be helpful and in regards to any medicine for you or baby it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
