#asktheexperts Hello Doctor My son is 4months old. My son is completely on mother feed from past one and half month. Doctor recommended multivitamin drops, d3 vitamin and iron drops earlier when he is on formula feed Doctor still recommended continue to use vitamin drops still Is it recommended? I mean expect vitamin D, other drops are good to continue to use ? Thanks in advance Pramod

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Usually the supplements are continued till one year of age so for now continue giving as suggested by your doctor and keep feeding abd expose baby to direct sunlight 30 mins a day

they are not necessary
if your child looks happy and active, gains enough weight, achieve age appropriate milestones then no need to worry about anything and no need of extra medicines.
