#asktheexperts hello doctor, my question is when during breastfeeding when my baby will suck the nipple , my nipples get red and painful..

A. Hello, your baby girl is 5 months old and when she sucks your breast nipples it becomes red and painful so mostly your breast milk is not enough for her so she sucks very strongly

A. It Could be some nerve related issue that you are going through I think you should get a check with your doctor to figure out as to what is the reason behind it and if there is any medication required that can help as of now you can do hot compress for the time being
