#asktheexperts hello doctor My new born baby boy is 8 day old..his birth weight was 3.030kg..my blood group is B negative, husband is B positive and baby's blood group is O positive..Now he is diagnosed with neonatal jaundice.At day 3 Bilirubin was 18.26 .so he was given phototherapy. At day 4 bilirubin was 15 and day 5 it was 13 ..so he was discharged from hospital..but next day his bilirubin level was 18.48..so again he is treated under photography.yrsterday his bilirubin was 16.20 .... please give me advice..

A. The bilirubin levels should come to less than 10 until then please follow whatever your doctor has advised as to high-level skin have direct impact on the brain of the baby. It can be controlled. It can take some time, so be patient
