#asktheexperts Hello doctor My daughter Vamika is 5 months old. She is suffering from cough and mucus since 8 days. I have given Taxim O for a week. Little improvement is there but cough still persist. What to do?

Cough and cold can we because of some allergic reaction in the body most of the time it is viral in the origin njkpeed to give symptomatic treatment first like steam inhalation and some home remedies cough expectorant may be required along with anti allergic medicationys

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. So maybe the infection has cleared but sometimes it is cough that is more persistent can take a little longer time to go so if you want you can certainly try nebulising the child that certainly going to be much beneficial in the current situation
