#asktheexperts hello doctor my baby is six month old but he is not gaining weight properly what to do his height is ok even he is taller according to his age but his weight is not increasing is it because of teething period ? kindly help

child should double it's birth weight by completion of Six month and triples by one year.
start with liquid only like dal ka pani or Rice water after six months

It Could be that your child is having its teeth I am not sure about it because I do not know whether your child is having any size associated with that and also I would say a lot of times due to lack of a breastfeeding or low quality of breastfeeding also child does not give appropriate weight
