Q.

#asktheexperts hello doctor. my baby is one mnth old, I fed my baby with both breast milk and powder milk frm 1 mnth. Now I am giving only breast feeding for one hr (half an hr on each side) to avoid powder milk. After 10 to 15 mins of breast feeding shes crying alot for milk while sucking her hands. what is the reason and what is the solution for her appetite? may I continue both milk? pls suggest

A. if so than Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which can be relieved by medicine like colicaid /gastica drops. other reasons could be nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and more which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .

A. Yup If your child is still hungry after your breastfeeding then of course you can go ahead with a combined feeding for the child that after breastfeeding if your child still is hungry then you can give about 30 ML of formula feeding to the child depending upon the hunger and appetite of the child
