#asktheexperts Hello doctor my baby is 2month and 12 days old her birth weight is 2.25..last week i checked her weight she was just 3.16..she is not gaining much weight..she is on only breast feed..what should I do sir am worried

Feed for longer time from one breast so that the baby gets both fore milk and hind milk. hind milk is rich in fat and thicker which will help in weight gain of the baby. Then switch to other side to feed if required.
U can start to give formula milk for weight gain by consulting your doctor for the same
