#asktheexperts Hello Doctor My baby is 11 months old..he wake up after every 1 hour in the night and re sleep when he feeds..and very often I have to give him medicine Colicaid and after 15 20 minutes he again sleep for 1 hour

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. there are number of reasons of excessive crying in children because it can be either due to some type of colic pain or digestion problem or due to some type of nasal blockage abdominal pain or any body pain / ear ache.
so if it is not improving meet your doctor and for pain you can give one dosage of parafcetamol.
if it appears to be colic pain you can give anti colic medicine and if it is due to nasal blockage you can give nasal salinfe drops.
many times changing the environment of the child helps as well as diverting the child helps.

Don’t offer feed frequently baby may wake up to play
Sleep pattern will correct soon
Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs regularly it also help baby to make muscle stronger and to reduce gas and constipation
Give adequate feeding
Do swaddling cuddling swinging to soothe your baby
