#asktheexperts hello doctor my baby is 11 month old she is not gaining weight now her weight is 7.6kg I am giving her everything. can you please tell me why she is not gaining weight and what to do to gain weight. thanks

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. hi babies weight gain depends on their birth weight. usually they gain triple their birth weight by the age of 12 months and ideally 11 months old baby should have weight between 6.5 to 8 kg. so don't worry your child weighs normal please focus on healthy development of your child because weight is not only parameter to judge your child health. it is more important to stay healthy and active then any other things.
