#asktheexperts Hello doctor, my baby is 1 year 1 month old, suffering from fever from yesterday early morning, consulted doctor , they prescribed dolo drops every 4 hrs after checking temperature of above 100 degree, but the fever is increasing for him, we are wiping with wet cloth then only fever reduces , later after 2 or 3 hrs again temperature increases. please advice

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. hi parent it's quite common any fever episode will last for 3- 5 days depending on the baby's immunity it will subside in 2 - 3 days maintain hydration keep a track on urine output

Consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Complete the course of medication as prescribed by your doctor.
