#asktheexperts Hello Doctor, My baby girl is 3 months old. I have been taking Lactare capsules for the past 4 weeks to increase my breast milk supply. I would like to know whether it is safe to continue taking Lactare capsules for another 8 weeks (12 weeks in total). Are there any side effects or risks associated with prolonged use, either for me or my baby? Would you recommend continuing the capsules or stopping them after 4 weeks? Please advise.

Rashmi GuptaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old girl4 days agoA. As far as I know there is no side-effect of these supplements are completely safe to be taken so you can continue according to what your doctor has suggested you can easily take them for 3 to 4 months it is not a problem
