Q.

#asktheexperts hello doctor, my 2.5 yr old son refuse to eat home cooked food no matter how delicious. he always ask for packaged snacks and chips, icecream and chocoletes. his weight is 11.5kgs. i am worried now about his growth and development. what should i do now? please suggest.

A. it is not that you are assuming here. he doesn't even accept small portion. neither he eats any fruit nor any food.

A. Serve very small portions to start to keep your own expectations of how much they should be eating in check. ... Space out meals to 2-3 hours apart to allow time for hunger to build. ... Remember that there are simply times when kids aren't hungry or aren't as hungry as we expect.
