A. Dear mum, weight of 7.1 kg is slightly low for 13 months old baby considering a birth weight of 2.7 kg. For healthy weight gain, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add dry fruits and nuts to baby’s foods. Add ghee to baby’s food. Give 4 to 5 meals a day and up to one katori every time. Continue to breastfeed.

A. It should be a minimum of 10 kgs by the age of 12 months so if I look at that and also can I feel it is quite less currently I would suggest you to consult a nutritionist or a paediatrician regarding the same will be able to help you with us to go along withWrite Your Answer Here
