#asktheexperts Hello doctor, my 1 year old is unwilling to intake iron drops [Tonoferon] because of its characteristic strong smell and taste. What may I do?

NishaMom of a 1 yr 2 m old girl2 months agoA. My baby is taking c pink iron drops and it doesn't have strong smell. My baby takes it easily. you can try it after consulting your paed.

Change the medicine there are hundreds of supplements available for Iron you can ask your doctor to change the one which has a very strong smell it’s usually don’t like to have it look for something which has very less fragrance and easy for the child to have
