#asktheexperts Hello Doctor, I need advice for my son regarding the following symptoms over the last week: ​Intermittent Fever & Mild Cold: He has an on-and-off fever, symptoms of a cold, and his body feels warm most of the time. ​Weight Loss: He has been looking weak and losing weight over the past 7 days. ​Temporary Relief from Medicines: The fever subsides only while the paracetamol and antibiotic effects last. As soon as the medicine wears off, the fever comes back. ​Please suggest what tests or further steps we should take."
