#asktheexperts Hello Doctor Good morning My wife tested positive for dengue and she is under medication right now and the temperature is coming down slowly currently she is having temperature of 99.5 degrees it got decreased from the peak of 103 degrees. My question is will this dengue affect the baby? My wife is really concerned about the baby's health.

A. dengue doesn't spread by contact but by mosquitoes so there is no problem to the child and you should continue the treatment for the mother and if the mother is comfortable then only she can give feeding
