#asktheexperts Hello doctor, from past 2 days my 5 months baby not drinking breast milk propery. She is very fussy and started to cry when I try to feed. She drinks for just 2 to 3 min and started to cry even if I have enough milk. She takes formula also, no problem with formula feed. It happened from last 2 days.. Also she is biting my nipple ( only one side) with her gum. what is reason of sudden decrase in interest of breast feedig ?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it is ok for some times in Breast feeding should be exclusively till 6 month of age. If not possible then only milk formula should be given. After that you can start with top feed along with cow milk .
