#asktheexperts he is suffering from cold cough in each month. we regularly gave medicine and also take precautions from foods which not suits in coughing. pls suggest what to do??๐

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the nextx line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold xweather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Tomato soup, honey in warm water, ginger tea, ginger and garlic khichdi, and turmeric milk are some home remedies for cough and cold symptoms in children.
