Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. development by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders
given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not.e
if child has good understanding and follows
orders and command of the parents properly then do not worry much about speech as will eventually come. talk more with child. avoid tv mobile laptop. involve more people to interact with the child. s

If you are calling your child with one single name that’s an official name or formal name still if your child is not responding then I think your child could be having a little bit of delay into the growth this is a very common thing that I’ve seen with my child also so I’d suggest you to go ahead with her with a child psychologist to understand more about it
