My 18 month old is not responding to her name but makes eye contact,reply to my questions, responding to 2 to 3 commands in one time like take this object and that object and give it to that person. We even thought her name and now when asked she is saying her name but not responding when called. Very rarely she responds. Im really worried.

A. Is your child actually aware about its name or not that would be a very big question here because when you called your child with different names the child is confused about its real name so try to teach your child what is it original name but if your child is making an eye contact responding otherwise I’m following your command it’s not a problem but still you should take a check with the doctor you may need to start with iron supplement and please don’t give any mobile time if you are giving by any chance
