Q.

#asktheexperts He is been having hypopigemted patches at the extensors. Mostly the back. I consulted dermatologist. They told it could be a discoid rash or atopic dermatitis. And suggested desonide. And moisturiser. For how long is this going to be present.

A. Hey! Recovery depends on your child’s response to the medication. And it varies from person to person. So complete the course of treatment as advice by the doctor and there should be a gradually improvement in the condition.

Q. My son is now 4 months old. He got a few hypopigmented patches when he was 20 days old and they are still on his body. He has one on stomach and few on chest, one scaly patch on leg and another at the back of the another leg and few on feet. These patches are not developing and infact they are getting disappeared now. Consulted two dermatologist so far. one mentioned dryness another birthmark. The picture was taken a month back.
