A. If your 11-month-old son is not gaining weight, focus on offering high-calorie, nutrient-rich foods in small, frequent meals. Include foods like mashed banana with ghee, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, well-cooked and mashed khichdi with ghee, suji halwa, paneer, boiled eggs (if non-vegetarian), curd, and breastmilk or formula. Offer snacks like ragi porridge, moong dal cheela, or homemade laddoos made with dry fruits and ghee. Also, ensure he is not filling up on liquids like juice or water before meals. If weight gain remains poor despite good eating, consult a pediatrician to rule out any underlying health issues.
