#asktheexperts Good morning, Doctor. I have a query regarding my 4.5-month-old baby. He passes stool only once a week. I wanted to ask if this is normal. His stool is soft and yellow in color. Is there anything I can do to help him pass stool at least on alternate days? Thank you.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy1 month agoA. Hello! Exclusively breastfed babies sometimes do not pass stools even for a week, it is normal as long as there is no discomfort in the child. Give good tummy time everyday. Use Babyhug tummy roll on for your baby. Consult your doctor for advice
