Q.

#asktheexperts Good afternoon doctor, my son is 10 months old and he is having fever since last sunday and on Thursday and Friday last week his temperature was normal again from saturday evening his temperature is high around 100-102°F hence our neonatologist suggested us to take a couple of blood tests like cbc, crp, dengue test, urine culture and blood culture. yesterday, we took all those tests and now we have got reports for cbc and crp. the crp value is 232 is that normal for babies who have fever. when my son born he had high crp and he was into nicu for 50days and mine was a emergency c section as my bp was high in 7.5 months. right now gain the crp value is high, do we have to consult doctor immediately or take him to hospital. pls suggest sir
