#asktheexperts From yesterday riyansh is having 100.c fever…we have consult the dr today after consultation i have given calphol syrup 3.5ml 2times now,bt there is no change still fever is102….from yesterday the fever is not reduced so what can i do now…pl suggest

Ashwini DevarajMom of a 4 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. hi mommy I can feel you. but stay strong. give the antibiotics as prescribed. and apply wet cloth on baby till the temp reduces. do this frequently. keep the baby hydrated. giv oly liquids. the baby ll be alright soon

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hoursx if fever is repevating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
