#asktheexperts for the last 4-5 months, my 19 months old baby boy, after getting enrolled in a day care( play school), is getting sick( fever, cold, cough) again and again. Do we need to worry? For the first one year, he never got sick. one more thing... he has not started talking yet. Shall we consult some speech therapist?

Children develop at their own pace, so it can be confusing and sometimes worrying when your child's language skills appear to fall below other toddlers. If your 20-month-old toddler isn't using more than a few words, there may be an underlying issue, such as a hearing problem or other developmental delay.
