#asktheexperts for how many days viral fever lasts. my son got fever on Monday in the beginning temperature reached 103 later after giving mefta it decreased but we gave paracetamol till today still he is temperature increasing but it is not too high. temperature is showing between 99.5 to 100.5.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. most of the times within 3 to 4 days the viral fever will subside. dsFever is the response of the body against foreign infection like virus bacteria etc no need to use any medicines unless the temperature is more than hundred degrees
