Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which ndeeds treaftment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Then You should find out the correct reason behind it you should consult your paediatrician they can tell you are suffering with cold frequently and accordingly they can advise you with the correct treatment also which will help in subsiding cold to a greater level
