Q.

#asktheexperts doctor, yester my 18 months baby got IPV vaccine n after that he played in park and weather was little hot. At night he vomitted everything he ate in evening and in midnight he vomitted some breastmilk. i have given indon syrup. why he is vomiting?

A. can i breastfeed? indon syrup is recommended by doctor earlier when he vomitted

A. after vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) and then againf wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurfs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis
