Q.

#asktheexperts can I start solids to my 5 months and 2 days old baby? he is sitting with support now and gained neck and head control. The concern is he is taking feed only for 5 min in every 2-3 hrs and avoiding to have formula milk through bottle or spoon

A. Hello mom yes definitely you can start with liquid consistency diet first for the baby such as Dal or rice, water, vegetable soup or fresh fruit juices, etc. As the baby gets used to it you can gradually move to semi solid and mashed consistency food.
