A. Dear parents, To start with cerelac at 4months is too early. Start semisolid diet after completing 6 months. For you. After 6month give semisolid dietThe American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends starting solids between 4 and 6 months of age, but it also advocates exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months.

A. At 4 months the baby should have either breastmilk or formula, not celerac. Cerelac is not needed ever for your baby. Exclusively breastfeed till six months, and then continue on to solids and continue to breastfeed as well for 2 years or as long as you are comfortable.
