#asktheexperts Can I relactate again. Due to inverted nipple my baby was unable latch properly and stop breast feeding. please advise how to relactate again?

A. Hello, your baby girl is 12 months old and you had a inverted nipples so you didn’t feed her your milk and now you want to relactate for her but milk is less likely to come or baby may not accept it

A. it is always advisable to feed the baby continuously to have properly lactation the baby is already one year of age if the problem of inverted nipples is corrected if the baby is sucking at the breast then the possibility of feeding can be reinstated
