#asktheexperts can I give gripe water to my baby ?? He is 7 months old.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. don't gi e he is 7 month old.. not required.. Gripe water generally include sugar and alcohol, sodium bicarbonate, excess of it is harmful for young babies. tc .

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello gripe water is generally not advisable to be given by any of the doctors as it contains alcohol and would be better to avoid it and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
