Pravalika AnilMom of a 3 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. if ur baby entered 6th month n baby is active and healthy then u can start with semi solids or u can take a suggestion from ur pediatrician whether to start or wait. The semi solids for baby are Rice/dal/Ragi porridge, fruits puree like apple, papaya, pear, banana and u can keep adding other fruits gradually. vegetable puree like carrot, beetroot, sweet potato and so on. No salt n sugar till 1 year. Can give boiled water left to cool about 30ml/day. Each food should be given for a week or at least 3 days to start a new one. New food must be given in the morning and continue it to the next week in the evng. repeat the process and if any food doesn't seem comfortable for baby then stop immediately.if any adverse effects then contact pediatrician immediately.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good afternoon I will recommend that you should give only mother's milk to the baby still completion of 6 months I would recommend that after that however you should introduce semi solid food
