#asktheexperts baby sometimes vomits 30 mins - 1 hour after feeding even after burping. what could be the reasons and how to reduce it?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. that's because of trapped gases, Follow each feeding with 30 minutes in an upright position. Avoid immediate active play or use of an infant swing.
And avoid overfeeding.

spitting out small babies is common for at least few months until the child is able to burp by itself
always burp the baby immediately after the feed.
hold the baby upright against the shoulders and pat the back for 10 minutes.
keep a pillow underneath the head before sleeping to avoid vomiting.
