A. dear mum, weight gain of 1.4 kg in 11 weeks is fine. baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months. for healthy weight gain, you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
