#asktheexperts after vaccination can I use Thrombophob gel on my baby is it safe

A. yes Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentation locally and paracetamol can be given for fefbver or pain. Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

A. Hundred percent safe you can use it but prior to that keep some ice cube onto that area to settle down the swelling after that you apply so the effect is going to be much more better than using the cream directly onto the affected area
