Q.
#asktheexperts After giving solid food is it normal for the baby to poop once in two days ? And also can we give water for baby after giving solid food although she is breast fed...? If so how much amount of water can be given per day in how many times and amount in ml..?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. it is advisable to start complementary feeding only after completion of 6 months of age and also you have to offer water again and again to the child and if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid then there is no need to worry about the number of days the child is not passing the stool but it is hard and dry stoolb than kindly see which type of diet is causing constipation in the child
