Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where syvymptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fegver than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Till the time you are not sure about the reason behind it which Ennoda Vayasu with any medication to go ahead where I can currently advise you that you consult gastrologist because if the issue has been to frequent video child you need to figure out in the first place what is the problem as on that basis only for the medication can be suggested for the child
