if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruitss
avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineappsle banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

Constipation is commonly seen with kids in this age but yes it’s very important that you try to avoid that by giving good amount of water maintaining good diet with fibre rich diet green leafy vegetables and also also or any good liquid apart from water will also going to be helpful
