A. For a 7-month-old baby, the primary source of nutrition should still be breast milk or formula milk. Solid foods can be given 2–3 times a day, but they are only for practice and taste at this stage—not a full replacement for milk. Here's a simple guideline: Breast milk or formula: Continue to offer on demand, about 4–6 times a day. Solids: Give 2–3 small meals a day such as mashed vegetables, fruits, rice cereal, or khichdi. Water: Small sips can be offered with meals. Avoid giving Amul milk (or any animal milk) before 1 year of age, as it lacks essential nutrients and may be hard to digest. Stick with breast milk or formula for your baby’s main nutrition. Consult your pediatrician before making major changes to the baby's diet.
