ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. not all get coughfor avoiding infections, most important is maintaining hygiene. handwashing plays important role in this. then good protein diet, vitamin c will help in maintaining good immunity. also wear weather appropriate clothing. also check water intake , as dehydration too can result in health problems.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Yes they can catch cough due to the cold or changing weather. For cough give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day. This will help in liquifying mucus and clear the chest congestion. Also apply baby vicks vaporub on the chest and feet of the baby.
