#asktheexpert Why my baby has uneven skin color ? His hands and feet are white but the remaining body has dark complexion. He is 23 days old now and at the time of birth he had jaundice .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is advisable not to worry about the skin colour of the child because you can improve it with proper diet according to the age of the child and gradually the skin of the child will have natural complexion according to the genetics.
do not apply any type of baby product with might cause skin blackening or darkening due to allergy
meet your doctor forx further advice regarding this and it is important to rule out nutritional deficiency as well as vitamin b12 deficiency

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Hot oil massage: Massage your baby’s skin with warm olive oil or almond oil every day before you bathe him! These oils are exceptional and provide just the kind of nourishment that baby skin requires. I use coconut oil too as it helps repair damaged skin and provides that sought-after glow!
Natural scrubs: These are the best as babies too need to exfoliate! Since store-bought exfoliators could be harmful to newborns’ skin, I make one at home out of chickpea flour, milk cream, and water. It makes for a mild exfoliator that helps remove any dirt or excessive hair from your baby’s body. Gently scrub your baby’s skin with this solution at least thrice a week.
