#asktheexpert why do my toddler fart a lot? Is it because of the food or the cooking process

A. Flatulence, or passing wind, is normal and necessary. It usually doesn't need treatment. If children are passing wind a lot and also have a sore tummy and other symptoms, they might need to see a GP. If certain foods give your child a lot of wind, try cutting back on them in your child's diet.
