#asktheexpert Which vegetables are safe to introduce as finger foods for 1 year old and which form it should be given raw or boiled?

A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most commgon. Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite. g Diet counselling isg also very important .

A. Raw You have to give it in the same format and use can go ahead with carrot cucumber French fries potato wedges all these things are the kind of finger food that you can offer to the child which is hard for a child beetroot is also very good option to go ahead with
