Q.
#asktheexpert Which medicines can be used to safely stop breastmilk supply? Do I need a prescription or is it available over the counter? please suggest. Im facing health issues and constant lack of energy due to continuous lack of sleep n night feedings. Do not have any support at home, so weaning naturally is no more an option.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Breast milk stops automatically when you stop feeding the baby. Still if you want to take medicine you can take Cabergoline. But first please consult your gynaecologist.
