For 6 months start with liquid foods
Start with thin daal, thin Upma, thin home made cerelac , steamed and puréed fruits, vegetables soup, coconut water
Start with 2 to 4 tsp twice a day
Follow 4 days rule that is give any new food for 4 days and then start with new food

Start with Dal Ka Pani or rice Ka Pani or rice porridge or ragi porridge or stewed apples or any one fruit puree or any one vegetable puree or clear vegetable soup. Introduce sips of water in between meals. Continue with breast feeding or formula milk as before.
