A. For a 6-month-old baby who is just beginning to transition to solid foods, it's important to start with simple, easy-to-digest foods that are suitable for their age and development. Here are some Indian food options suitable for a 6-month-old: 1. **Rice Cereal:** Cooked rice cereal mixed with breast milk or formula to a smooth consistency. Start with a thin consistency and gradually thicken it as your baby gets used to eating solids. 2. **Dal (Lentil) Soup:** Mildly spiced lentil soup cooked with water and a little bit of turmeric. Ensure that the lentils are well-cooked and mashed to a smooth consistency. 3. **Vegetable Purees:** Cooked and mashed vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and peas. You can blend them with a little water or breast milk to achieve a smooth texture. 4. **Fruit Purees:** Puree ripe fruits like bananas, apples, pears, and mangoes to offer as a snack or dessert. These provide natural sweetness and essential vitamins. 5. **Khichdi:** A soft, well-cooked mixture of rice and lentils, mashed to a smooth consistency. You can gradually introduce mild spices like cumin and coriander for flavor. 6. **Mashed Potatoes:** Cooked and mashed potatoes mixed with a little breast milk or formula to achieve a creamy texture. Avoid adding salt or spices at this stage. 7. **Suji (Semolina) Porridge:** Cooked semolina porridge made with water or breast milk. You can add a small amount of mashed banana or grated apple for natural sweetness. 8. **Mashed Paneer (Cottage Cheese):** Soft and crumbled paneer mixed with a little breast milk or formula. Paneer is a good source of protein and calcium for growing babies. 9. **Yogurt:** Plain, unsweetened yogurt is a good source of probiotics and calcium. You can offer it as a snack or mix it with fruit puree for added flavor. Always ensure that the food is cooked well, mashed or pureed to a smooth consistency, and served at a suitable temperature to prevent choking hazards. Introduce one new food at a time and watch for any signs of allergies or digestive issues. Consult with your pediatrician for specific dietary recommendations for your baby's age and needs.

A. Ragi , stewed fruits and vegetables.Try giving 1 food at a time for 3 days continuously to check any allergic reaction and then give next food . Before combining 2 foods, give them separately and check for allergic reaction. Breastfeeding is nessecary.
