NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. Babies usually start crawling between 7 and 12 months old, but it can vary from child to child. Some babies may be able to get into a crawling position on their hands and knees as early as 6 months, and by 9 months they may be rolling around and crawling on their tummies, also known as "commando crawling". However, not all babies will crawl, and some may skip the stage altogether. Instead, they may shuffle on their bottom, crawl on their belly, or go straight from sitting to standing
